Our climate, health, and equity work is most focused on:
Addressing the disproportionate health impacts of the climate crisis on Miami's low wealth communities—including extreme heat exposures, energy burden, and climate gentrification—while advocating for the advancement of a just and green local economy.
This is important because:
If we do not address these issues, our region will no longer continue to exist and our communities will be faced with the trauma of mass displacement and disaster.
